Brigade DVS Compliant Camera & Side Detection System for Rigid Vehicles

Brigade's DVS kits help to streamline the process of ensuring vehicles are correctly fitted to the required standard and that a permit can be issued successfully without delay. 

We have two versions of the kit- one for Articulated vehicles and one for Rigid vehicles. This kit includes VBV-770M-M 7″ monitor, side camera, turn indicator activation module, sidescan system, low speed trigger module, latched cut-out switch, external speaking “Warning” alarm and ‘Blind Spot Take Care’ DVS sticker.

The Direct Vision Standard came into force in October 2020. It requires all goods vehicles weighing more than 12 tonnes to possess a permit to drive in Greater London. Permits are issued based on a vehicle’s star rating.

The location of each camera and sensor on the vehicle can be found in the attached file along with other recommended camera monitor systems, backup and reverse warning alarms and sensors.
